Our Mission and Team

We are a group of diverse women with a passion for Information Security and helping others succeed. Our individual backgrounds, level of knowledge and differing professional journeys creates a unique mix of skills, perspectives and experiences. This allows us to approach our mission from many different angles, finding innovative and creative solutions together.

EmpoWE‐R Women of Information Security was formed to celebrate women in InfoSec and to create an inclusive environment for all to feel welcome. We come together empowering one another and celebrate our successes and everyone who has and continues to support us!

At the core of our mission is a scholarship fund to assist women in InfoSec with continuous learning opportunities (certifications, tuition assistance, training and/or leadership courses).
